In April 2016, road works will be undertaken at the South Road intersection with Grange Road/Manton Street, and at the South Road intersection with Port Road, to switch traffic onto the new northbound surface road alignment between Hindmarsh Avenue, West Hindmarsh and Euston Terrace, Croydon. The traffic will be redirected to allow for the construction of the first two bridges on the T2T project at Grange Road and Port Road – marking a major milestone. The traffic switch will be undertaken in three stages. The three stages will include the following:

To undertake the Stage 1 road works, Grange Road and Manton Street will be temporarily CLOSED to traffic at the South Road intersection from 7pm Friday 8 April to 6am Monday 11 April 2016.
Scheduled for 27 April 2016
Scheduled for 7-8 May 2016
When stage 2 and stage 3 of the traffic switch occurs Port Road and South Road will remain OPEN to road users in a temporary traffic configuration when the works take place over two consecutive weekends. Access to businesses will be maintained.
