T2T – Torrens to Torrens Project

As part of the Torrens Road to River Torrens Project, the T2T Alliance will be trenching in the south east corner of the South Road intersection with Port Road.

To minimise disturbance to peak hour traffic, the works will take place from 7pm Monday 29 May to 6am Tuesday 30 May 2017.

Key activities     

• Excavation of trench
• Installation of conduits

A road saw, vacuum truck, bobcat, trucks, compaction equipment and light vehicles will be used to perform these works. Lighting towers will also be in operation during night works.

Traffic Management

• Lane and speed restrictions will apply in the vicinity of the works.
• Traffic and detour signage will alert motorists to the changed traffic conditions.
