OUTER HARBOR RAIL LINE BETWEEN COGLIN STREET AND BOWDEN TRAIN STATION

As part of the Torrens Road to River Torrens Project, the T2T Alliance will be undertaking rail works between Coglin Street, Hindmarsh and Bowden train station. To minimise disturbance to train commuters, and weather permitting, these works will be undertaken throughout the following times:

  • 9pm to 4am nightly from Monday, 9 September to Thursday, 12 September
  • 1:30am to 4am nightly from Monday, 16 September to Saturday, 21 September

Key activities

Supporting rail works for the installation of the activated pedestrian crossing at West Street, Brompton. A quick saw, vacuum truck, excavator, jack hammer, hand tools and light vehicles will be used to perform these works. Works will be managed to minimise disturbance to residents; however some noise can be expected. Where possible the noisiest works will be undertaken earlier in the evening.

It is expected that the activated pedestrian crossing at West Street will be operational at the end of September.
